In August of 2007, history was made as the Atlanta Fashion Network presented the first annual Atlanta International Fashion Week with its benefits and big name designers that attracted Atlanta’s finest. In July 2008, fashion will take center stage again for the second installment of the most highly anticipated fashion event of the year featuring international fashion moguls, celebrities, models, agents, press and buyers.
Atlanta International Fashion Week will be a four-day fashion and entertainment exposition, from July 23rd to the July 27th, 2008, being held at one of Atlanta's preeminent exposition facilities, the Georgia World Congress Center and other local venues. Again, AIFW will feature highly informative and entertaining workshops, fashion shows, awards gala, and events. We'll be heating up the runways with collections from top designers.
In addition, each night of AIFW will provide participants with the opportunity to make key industry contacts and linkages at one of our lavish dinners and networking events. These networking opportunities simply cannot be missed.
In producing AIFW, the Atlanta Fashion Network plans to shape fashion and style displaying what Atlanta has to offer in fashion to the world. Atlanta International Fashion Week will bring together hundreds of the brightest stars in fashion and entertainment for a week of fun designed to both raise funds and heighten awareness of issues facing today’s communities. Partial proceeds will be donated to local charities and organizations.
