I have been in the entertainment/music industry professionally over 12 years. I started independently doing promo and marketing for No Limit Records, Ruff Ryders and Aaliyah. Took a job at MCA for 2 years (98 - 99), where we produced one of the best runs MCA ever had. We charted in the top 10 The Roots, Jesse Powell, Aaron Hall, Mary J. Blige, Non Chalant and a few others. Went on to manage the record label for Patchwerk, who had Ras Kass and we put together a group called Jatis that I got signed to Loud Records before it faltered. Then, I was requested to take over the studio operations and become General Manager and Director of Creative Services for about 4 years. Worked with over 100 artists such as Usher, Luda, TLC, Outkast, Jay-Z, Fat Joe, Lil Jon, Amerie, Beyonce, Sting, Annie Lenox, India Irie, Monica, Cash Money and the list goes on. I was then hired by 2x Pro Bowler Muhsin Muhammad to develop and run Baylo Entertainment which I was able to build up to earn a yearly revenue over a million dollars within 3 years.
All this time I always had a fascination for the web and computers, I had a website that I started in 1996 - 97 called the TheClubLine.com which gave the birth of other club oriented websites such as Clubplanet.com. In 98 I received an offer for 1.2 million plus the opportunity to be C.O.O. to run it by the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez but my dumb ass turned it down because other companies like UBO.net where getting 30 million. I was young, dumb and greedy. Anyway while I was doing all the my day activities I did the web stuff at night because I always knew that the internet would be huge. I learned design and programming. Now besides my new company, I was contracted by one of the biggest black advertising and public relations company to create and design all of their interactive campaigns I have designed and developed advertising and websites for Nationwide Insurance, Publix, Luster's Haircare products, JP Morgan Chase, BMW. So yes you can say I am a very busy man.
