Blog Entry: hello my name is patricia ashby and i'm twenty six years old and i started singing at the age of ten and i've been singing sense then i don't know how it happen all i did was listen to elvis,michael jackson and others and all of a sudden the sounds of my voice surprised my mother after that i'll sing to anything rock,pop and country my favorite to sing along to is michael jackson,mariah carey and celine dion in my middle school there was a talent show i was in six grade at the time i performed colors of the wind from pocahontas the reaction of the crowd was shocking and exciting to me the feeling of being on stage was cool after that everyone wanted me to sing for them i'm a very shy person but singing helps me be happy i joined the chorus in school too and i've been singing in chorus until i graduated in 2002 i tryed to get to sing professionally but i had nobody to help me my mother would come up with gulit trips and says things like it takes money to make it in the music business.god has given me the gift to sing and i feel i can do it if people would give me the chance i can make people happy by singing to them i like seeing the happiness on peoples faces and i want to make my dream a reality.
