Flower Mound High School is a 5A school that is one of the few public high schools that uses their program to aid students with finding work in the industry, placing them in programs and helping them further their education beyond highschool careers, as opposed to concentrating on the art of theatre, limiting themselves to stage work and theatre history. The 4 main directors in the program have expierience in broadway as producers, makeup design and costume design, actor, comedy and stunt double work hired to help provide a rounded and full education for the student actors. FMHS annually participates and succedes in many competitions to gain recognition for the students and scholarship money from schools interested. They produce 2 shows, 1 musical, and 1 show for national competition.
