Easybackground Checks is a scam. Don't believe what is on their site. The coward that runs it has cloaked his identity so that nobody can sue him for his libel and slander. The so-called "reports" on it are anonymous. More cowards. After he lists you there, he contacts you by phone and offers to remove the report from there for $2500.00. There are several attorney's attempting to bring legal action against the bogus "scam" site. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT IS ON THAT SITE, it is set up to extort money from people.

Lordy, sad thing about the internet its hard to know what information is true and what isn't... Anyways the idea of a scammer praying on another scammer is just odd.

I agree and while not making any statements for or against Alpha, I can say that there are a lot of crooked operations out there and definitely some are listed on the aformentioned site. Unfortunately, I fell victim of that site myself and they attempted to extort money from me to "clear my name" of the absolute hogwash they were peddling. Thank goodness the real measure of a legitimate agency is regulated by the State Government, for which my company is in solid standing (State of Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations). Libel posted by phoney "watchdog" scam sites is obscene and destructive to this industry and they should be ashamed of their cowardly anonymous selves. There are several attorney's attempting to locate and sue the owner of that site for libel and extortiion. There are several news reports detailing it - REAL NEWS REPORTS BY FOX TELEVISION AND OTHERS. Reports by real reporters who have real names, addresses, phone numbers, and identities... not cowards who post fake scam reports and then attempt to extort money from those they are defacing.

I have personal expereince with AMG and with the Atlanta director at the time.

I actually worked for Alpha Model Group in 2003 as a booker and as a scout. (During my break from modeling)
Lasted all of about two weeks and I never got a check from them.

I found out that there were no real trained bookers except Quincy who left. And the main theme was to recruit models to do three pictures on a webpage for $549.00. They preached about allowing models with professional pics use them when they sign up. But I never once witnessed them accepting one.
I asked the Atlanta director one day about it and he never was able to give me a direct answer.

Later when I was doing castings for events I was holding or friends who were holiding castings...Alpha would regularly steal my castings and post them on their website. Or send me the links to the models showing three images. This was after a specific request to them to NOT use my castings.

I give AMG the biggest thumbs down as I've seen the attitude and behind the scenes working of the company. They changed scouts every week. They never had a legitimate booking department except for one guy, who I won't name. And, he didn't stick around after realizing what he'd signed on for as well. Most never really lasted more than 2-3 weeks. I think the highest paid person there was the receptionist ($10 a hour fulltime) and the Director of the office.

So here is my personal experience with AMG from back in the day. There is no honor among them.
