This is so true. Although some of the reports are accurate. But, most times the reports are just hearsay and then there is the option to "buy" your name off the site.

Alot of the scam reporting sites are either people scamming the companies to clear their reputations or disgruntled individuals trying to seek revenge.

It's hard to trust alot of what you run into when searching one source for credibility. Do your due process and search multiple sources, check for companies to be licensed in what they do, and references of who has dealt with them in some way.

The BBB isn't an exact science either.
It's not mandatory to register with the BBB and many agencies don't.
And quite a few of the agencies who DO register with the BBB are still shady or unethical and continue to receive a good report.

To continue a good standing with the BBB, you only need to not have had a certain amount of complaints filed against you within a certain period of time. As long as you don't, your standing remains good. This is why alot of unethical agencies hide their BBB number until their account is back in good standing.

I haven't heard much about this 'agency" lately. Taking a look at their website (www.alphamodelgroup.com) I can see that they've made an effort to try to resolve some of the complaints and improve their "customer service". I have no idea how successful that has been but Alpha Model Group is still in buisness. *ugggh*
