| How to get Help from the MMT Staff in a Professional Way. 03-01-2007, 08:16 PM
Rating: (1 votes - 5.00 average) Hello All,
After almost two years of dealing with randomly rude new members I’ve decided to make this announcement.
If any member is rude to myself or any of my staff without provocation I will have that account deleted and have that member's comments posted for all to see (mostly to alleviate us of any liability). If the member signs up again and continues to be abusive I will ban that member's email address, IP address, username, and computer name. I will even ban them by full name, physicall mailing address, and phone number.
Why? Because I run this site as a free service for all. Every new member that registers creates new operations overhead for the site and I continue to personally support it and develop it.
This site exists because I’m aware of the difficulty in actually gaining ground in this business. New talent can have the hardest time learning the business and are often taken advantage of. I also do it because at one point in time I was a runway model myself and I actually have a deep personal passion for this.
MMT is my hobby. Clogging my inbox with senseless and rude emails drives me closer to shutting the site down rather then frugally donating servers, developers, and company resources to the development of this site.
Also, MyModelTalk.com is a trade name of FullBlown Entertainment. Those resources belong to FullBlown and can easily be dedicated to the profitable side of my business. it would cost nothing to dismantle it. MyModelTalk is not even a taxable legal entity. Other then the fun part of managing, growing, and seeing people benefit from the use of this website there is no business benefit for me. I’m amazed at what people think that they can demand of a non-profit website.
MyModelTalk is not for me. Comedy supports my business plans very well. MMT is a 'passion' of mine and a tool for all of you. A tool for talent…
Simply put, MMT is a drain on FullBlown's resources and can easily disappear if I begin to believe what we are trying to do here is being taken for granted. |
