I am an author/singer/songwriter in search of someone who has the following musical ability:

1) Composer/Arranger
2) Can play acoustic guitar with the ability to interpret Jazz, Hip-Hop, Folk, Neo-Soul, and R&B styles. The songs I write draw from a combination of any one of these styles. Kinda like an India Arie meets Erykah Badu blend.
3) Music producer who can share a vision for my project, and help create quality product.

Preferably, I would like one person to perform all of the above. My goal is to form a songwriting partnership for long-term projects. I am skilled at writing lyrics, catchy hooks and melodies, performing vocals, and some vocal arrangement.

I will be performing a live unplugged presentation at my home for close friends and family in Jan 2010. Able to pay up to $200 for the gig, depending on the talent and duration.
For songwriting collaboration sessions, we’d have to agree on what is needed and whether it would be work for hire or shared songwriting credit.
As far as studio production time, it would help if the person has a studio, which would make writing easier, but I am prepared to pay for my own studio time.
