Wanted males 25-54. Absolutely no experience required! Don't judge your voice, let us be the judge. Personality and knowledge of 1950's music is more important than anything, but remember you can always learn. But here's the best part of all, every applicant will be judged by a panel of 5 different personalities and backgrounds. This station has turned their search for a full-time disc jockey into a talent search contest. We have two purposes in our mission: One, to give as many applicants as possible the ability to compete (and be trained if necssary) in this contest. Two, to stimulate our struggling economy with the donation of listening hours by our judges to choose "the ultimate DJ", we are able to allow the special merchants providing your registration locations to require a $20 purchase or mutliple purchases totaling $20 or more (receipts cannot be dated before October 13th) at the merchant site where you will be submitting your application. We can receive demos on cassett, mini cassett or CD (professional quality not required so grab your buddies and have some fun, we need two spoken minutes of your voice with a howl at the end) Here's where you can sign up: "Mama's Got It Like That Cafe" soul food located at I-20 off Candler Road inside the Shell Station, "Southern Heart Home Style Cooking" located at 4468 Glenwood Rd and any and all your Wayfield Food stores. All entries must be submitted by Wednesday October 28th. Winner announced Saturday, October 31st at a live remote from a Wayfield Food Store location.
