I am a jazz/soul vocalist with a booking at Cafe 290 scheduled for Thursday, November 19, 2009. The compensation for this gig is a door split. Cafe 290 will be charging a $5 cover for guests that evening. I am looking to put together a band to play behind me. You should be able to read jazz/cover/original rhythm/chord charts and available for up to to (2)hour rehearsals in Sandy Springs Georgia in preparation for the gig. I will probably be performing 2 one hour sets. I was mentored by the late great Betty Carter. My style is rooted in jazz with soul and R&B influences.
