Vanessa started her dance education at the Little Dance Theater in N.Y. at the age of 3.
After relocating to North Carolina, she continued her dance education in hip hop, ballet, pointe, jazz and tap. She has also attended various summer dance programs including the NC School of Art in Chapel Hill, NC, and a 6 week summer program in Syracuse, N.Y.
At the age of 14 she began her teaching career .A year later she became the Praise dance director at her local church. She then expanded her career by choreographing pieces for individuals and groups for pageants and various contest, and also worked with the local high school cheerleaders and dance teams.
After graduating from high school, Vanessa preformed with The Showtime Production Company, doing various photo shoots, runway shows, choreography and performances, which include an opening performance for a Bobby Valentino concert in 2005.
In 2006 , filling her love for dance and performing arts lead her to audition for the reality television show "So You Think You Can Dance" in which she made it to the third round before being eliminated.
Though Vanessa has been trained is various types of dance ,her own personal stlyle consists of sexy/sassy hip hop with and hard core edge and a blend of island flavor that is traced back to her Jamaican roots.
Vanessa's latest endeavors, promotional modeling, in which she has worked for companies such as yet not limited too: Chevy ,Bud Light Lime, Carol's Daughters cosmetic's, and Essence Festival .
