Our facility located in Santa Monica is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working Input/Output Assistant with editing capabilities. Our company handles the visual effects post-production needs for major television shows, feature films and commercials.
Responsibilities, etc. include (but are not limited to):
• Handling everything in the I/O (input/output) department, including filling deliveries, layoffs, conforms, etc.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Flexible schedule a must. Late nights will be required, with possible weekends and early mornings.
• Required - Final Cut experience. A capable editor that knows enough about Final Cut to sit down and be able to put together a demo reel quickly and competently.
• Prior experience in a machine room or VFX environment a plus.
• BASH/Python scripting knowledge a plus.
• Knowledge of After Effects a plus.
• Have a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
The right candidate will also have an interest in visual effects and post-production.
