Casting calls for three roles that will be rehearsed and performed as a senior final project at California State University Northridge.

The three roles will be reenactments from the motion picture Philadelphia, 1993.

Roles and breakdown:

ANDREW BECKETT - a liberal attorney, a rising legal star from Philadelphia who was recruited from Penn State. Beckett excels at practicing law. His personal life will shock his senior conservative partners, since he conceals his clandestine gay affairs. He maintains a sappy attitude for a man of his caliber. But Beckett is dying of AIDS. He will have to gather his every atom of energy to overcome a landmark case, where he is the victim of AIDS discrimination in a wrongful termination suit.

JOE MILLER - a conservative small time attorney, a homophobic who loathes homosexuals. He dreads the "gay plague," the "gay cancer" of the early 90s. He struggles to gather prospects. But Beckett will be his turning point. He will have to overcome his fear of AIDS and dislike for gay men in an act of humanity. He will fight Beckett's case as a cause for justice.

CHARLES WHEELER - a seasoned conservative attorney. Wheeler’s the top partner at a prestigious Philadelphia law firm. He’s a man with power who posses encyclopedic knowledge of the law. His lifetime in the legal arena will buckle when he's brought to trial for firing Beckett, his senior associate for having AIDS.
