I am a casting director for an advance Cinematography Student at LACC.
We are looking for a Girl about 9 years old.
Synopsis: After Amara looses her father in a car accident, she gets depressed and her only wish is to see her father again. She visits a park she used to go with her dad and have fun playing when they were together, but this time, she is only by herself remembering those good times. All of a sudden, the image of a disfigured man appears from the distance and Amara does not know what to do. The man calls her name and Amara recognizes the voice as his father. Her dilema now is wheter to stay or to leave because she is so scared about the disfigured man, but she also wants to hug him because it is his father who came back but not as the handsome man he was but as an unrecognizable character.
Will she stay or will she leave?
Casting call is by appointment only at LACC.
Shooting is on HD format
Location: Los Angeles
There is no pay in this project but copy, credits and meals are provided to all participants.
