I am a third year MFA student at CalArts in Valencia in Film Directing. I am shooting my thesis 16 page film on location in the Los Angeles area December 12-15.
The story involves a Latino male in his 30s who has just been released from jail. Again. He wants to correct his course in life but is unsure how. Moreover, he feels more and more alienated from his friends and family: the community that was there before his latest stint. In an effort to figure things out, the main character turns to a friend who didn't want to be found. Before the main character can go forward with his life, he must first deal with his past.
Looking for Latino male lead 27 to 40. He plays Jose.
Looking for Latino actors mid 20s to late 30s to play Jose's close friends.

A Caucasian male 35 to 50. Eddie is Jose's older friend whom he turns to in the end.
A Caucasian female 28 to 35. She plays Eddie's wife.
