TV Studio Production Coordinator

Summary:

Coordinate all graphic-related needs both on and off-air, in support of the respective managers. In addition to day-to-day Coordinator duties, this Coordinator specifically handles the delivery and initial quality check of all lower third snipes, distribution of graphic information to writer/producers, maintains the graphic log book, and coordinates gallery photography on behalf of Studio Creative Dept.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

Provides assistance and support for the team of Writer/Producers and Graphic Artists producing the on-air experience for viewers of TV Network, and also provides on-going support for TV Studios Creative’s management team.
Serves as back-up for all other Creative Team Coordinators.

Specific Duties:

Coordinates and helps manage the production of over 4,000 lower third graphic snipes annually. This includes creating work orders for all A-List lower third snipes, preparing logs for Broadcast Operations & Engineering, delivering digital files, and providing quality control of all lower third snipes.
Distributes approval and promo reels on a daily basis.
Coordinates delivery of graphic tapes between post-production facilities for writer/producers, managers and creative directors.
Quality checks approximately 500 graphic work orders submitted by writer/producers annually.

Knowledge and Skills:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic Knowledge of design software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, AfterEffects.
Knowledge of basic business computer programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
