Sports TV Network Production Travel Coordinator

Major Sports TV Network is seeking a Production Travel Coordinator. This position will be responsible for coordinating travel for production crew, preparing estimates of travel costs and reconciling invoices. The coordinator will be a liaison between travel and production. This position will report to the Finance Manager and will be located on the Studio Lot in Century City, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile and provide coding for travel invoices on a timely basis
• Reconcile travel expenses to provide weekly travel estimates by utilizing air and hotel reports and running reports.
• Liaison between travel, field operation and operational group to gather information or obtain RPTA’s (travel authorization) for the finance department in order to pay invoices.
• Verify travel dates for above the line crew in order for payroll to process per diem for each production event.
• Maintain travel authorization forms and copy into directory.
• Assist in posting journal entries for month end close, perform ad hoc analysis and on-call during the weekends to approve travel if necessary.

Requirements
• Must posses’ effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel must know how to create pivot and look up tables. PeopleSoft/E1 experience helpful.
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment, must be able to meet deadlines and be pro-active in resolving issues.
