Hollywood Production and Distribution Company is currently seeking 2009/2010 Winter/Spring Interns in the following areas:

Motion Graphics/Animation/Graphic Design/Web Design Interns
Business Administration/Legal/PR & Marketing Interns
Film &TV Development/ Studio Exec Interns
Production Interns - (camera, sound, gaffers, etc.)
Post Production/Editing Interns

We are looking for great individuals who have the most to contribute and gain from the experience. We will provide each intern with a portfolio of work that will speaks volumes to the entertainment industry. Our target demographic is Urban America and young adults ages 18-34. Some of our partners and clients are Universal Studios, BET, MTV, Block Buster, Warner Bros., etc…

Candidates must have exceptional skills in these areas: Self reliance, Exceptional communication (written and oral), multitasking, organizational skills, idea conceptualization, analytical skills, detail oriented, and creativity. Although this is an internship, each candidate must be able to handle deadlines single-handedly and work under pressure, while still contributing great energy to the team and company.

Preferred candidates should be proficient in one or more of the following: Film and Television Development • Adobe Premiere Pro • Final Cut Pro • After Effects • Web design • Motion Graphics/3D Animation • Graphic Design • Production • Development • Accounting • Camera Operating • Lighting • Sound • Boom Operating • Microsoft Software • Database Entry • Business Administration • QuickBooks Accounting • Legal Analysis • Marketing, Sales & PR

Interns will have the opportunity to enhance their skills and gain knowledge and experience in the following areas: Film, Television, and Multimedia Development and Production • Print, Mass Media, Packaging • Telecommunication and Database Entry • Internet and Editorials • Public Service Announcements • Trailers and Commercials • Industrials and Electronic Press Kits • Event and Production Coordination • Casting • Product Placement and Corporate Sponsorship • Entertainment Law, Distribution and other aspects of multimedia production & studio operations.

This 3-6 month unpaid internship is for students and candidates in need of college internship credit and/or invaluable hands on entertainment, production and distribution experience. Therefore, office hours are flexible; but applicants must be able to contribute at least 12 hours a week to apply.
