Full time broadcast sound & lighting technician for a television program:
This is a full time position (Monday through Friday) with some weekends for a "Best of LA TV" airing on KTLA & KCAL.
Candidate must:
1. Be experienced in capturing sound using booms, lavaliere mics and mixers.
2. Have have lighting experience.
3. Work well under pressure.
4. Have proven track record of working in a broadcast television environment.
5. Be professional and always on time.
6. Be able to display a basic knowledge of electricity.
7. Be able to work closely with others in the crew.
8. Be willing to work in a variety of situations and locations
Job duties include:
1. Setting up and breakdown of equipment on a shoot.
2. Recording clean audio using both a lav and boom microphone through a mixer.
3. Troubleshoot and field repair equipment on a shoot.
4. candidate may need to work late hours and some weekends.
