Major TV Network News Producer Assistant
Assists newscast producers in all areas of executing daily newscasts; including but not limited to writing, creation of run-downs, and supporting graphics.
Essential Responsibilities •Assists in the production of segments for daily news programs as assigned.
•Works with producers, news staff and talent to help develop program formats, on-air looks and individual segment ideas
•Produces daily news program in conjunction with newscast producers
•Duties include newscast script writing, research, location, guest booking and coordination, conceptualize and order graphics and animations for newscasts, on-air timing and phone screening.
•Set up and produce live shots, conduct interviews
•Performs other duties as assigned.
•Fill-in to produce newscasts if needed
Qualifications/Requirements •High school diploma
