1st Year AFI Cinematography Fellow seeks a dancer to do a portrait/life study project with. The project will be shot on 16mm film and is planned to be adapted from a spoken word poem. The project will screen in the second half of December with a live reading of the poem. You of course will get to showcase yourself in what I would like to be a beautifully crafted adaption and collaboration between the medium of dance, film and poetry. I'm looking for someone in the middle age or older range to do the portrait on. The shoot will take place over a 6 hour period (as per requirements of the school) on either Monday, November 23 or Tuesday November 24. Because I'm a student, I can't offer much. A small stipend of $50, a copy of the piece by December 18, rights to post the piece online and hopefully a wonderful opportunity for collaboration and the creation of art.
