I recently optioned a feature length comedy. I'm looking to attach a CD with music I think would fit for the soundtrack. I already have one made but I would prefer to use unknown/undiscovered bands.
Youtube and myspace is only getting me so far. If you have a song you're proud of send it my way. Make sure you have an easily found website or myspace page. If the producers choose to use your song I want to make sure they can contact you.
Not looking for anything extreme (IE Thrash Metal, hardcore rap, etc.) Would love to hear any kind of rock, country, hip-hop, emo, acoustic.
If you have a unique cover of a popular of a rap or hip-hop song please send it! Think the Gourds version of "Gin and Juice" or Ben Folds' "Bitches ain't Sh**"
Only looking for your best songs. Don't send your entire album. No amateur recordings. Doesn't need to be professionally mastered but at least mixed and sound good. No crappy youtube live recordings!
