Audition Date: 11/4/2009 from 10am to 12pm; Rehearsal Date: 11/4/2009 from 4:30pm-5:15pm. Shoot Date: 11/18/2009.

Location: Los Angeles City College; 855 N Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029.


This is a project for a directing class. We will be shooting a scene from the movie 25th Hour. It is about a 3 minute scene. This scene will be performed in front of a directing class. It is a chance to peform for a classroom full of aspiring directors and producers. Good for your reel. Compensation: Copy, Credit.

In this scene, Monty and his girlfriend Naturelle, are in their apartment when DEA agents Brzowski and Cunningham walk in. Agent Brzowski sits on Monty's sofa and notices that it is "lumpy." As a result, Monty's drug stash is discovered by the agents.

AUDITION NOTE: Auditions will be on November 4, 2009 from 10am-12pm. It's in the Cinema building, room 210. Decisions will be made immediately after the auditions. Selected talent MUST be able to return later the same day to a tech rehearsal in the school's soundstage at 4:30pm. Hard copy script provided at audition.

CHARACTERS:

MONTY: Co-Star / Male / All Ethnicities / 25 - 35 years
Description: Monty is a drug dealer who lives with his beautiful girlfriend Naturelle. Monty has the capacity to do much better than selling drugs, but he has grown comfortable with the lucrative lifestyle of dealing. In this scene, he realizes just how far he's gone.
Wardrobe: House clothes: sweats, track suit. etc.

AGENT BRZOWSKI: Featured / Male / All Ethnicities / 30 - 45 years
Description: Agent Brzowski has seen it all. He finds it amusing busting dealers. Monty is no exception. Brzowski finds it amusing to the point where he uses his humor to try and annoy Monty.
Wardrobe: DEA jacket. (provided)

AGENT CUNNINGHAM: Co-Star / Male / All Ethnicities / 30 - 40 years
Description: Agent Cunningham is the partner of Agent Brzowki. He and Brzowki work together with an inside sense of humor. Cunningham follows Brzowski's lead. They say things to each other designed to irritate the people they intend to bust.
Wardrobe: DEA Jacket

NATURELLE: Background / Female / All Ethnicities / 20 - 30 years
Description: This is a non-speaking role. However, the other characters make occasional references to Naturelle. In this scene, she is standing against the wall in a bath robe.
Wardrobe: Must bring your own bathrobe for the shoot.
