I am a student at LACC (Los Angeles City College, Cinema Department) and I am looking for an actress to present a scene in class before a number of cinema students on November 5th. She must be available between 5:30pm and 6:30pm on that day. There will be a total of 3-4 meetings for the actress chosen for the scene (1 casting call, 1-2 rehearsals, and the final presentation on the 5th).
ONLY THOSE CAPABLE OF MEETING AT LEAST 3X BETWEEN NOV. 2nd AND NOV. 5th NEED APPLY.
CASTING: Latina Female, Working Professional, mid-20's to mid-30's
Though a working professional type, she is in PAJAMAS for the whole scene opposite the other lead (male, her husband). She's feisty, funny, mature, and street smart, but her biggest quality (in this scene) is her ability to forgive and support her husband. In this scene, the two are in a loving relationship and, even though her husband admits to smoking pot behind her back for the last year, which brings up a number of emotions for her, she is not willing to end the relationship.
PLUS: An ability to speak Spanish and/or have an accent is a big plus but not necessary.
