Innovative Live show Light Designer

November 2009 - Los Angeles, CA – Music Management team is looking for One (1) dedicated, highly talented, and energetic/innovative team member to be part of a large-scale production/live performance band as custom light designer for Rock musician Avery Watts.

Technical ability and up-to-date training is a must, we are looking for a special “someone” who is adept as an up and coming LD and also WANTS to be an active member of the live performance to prove skill with a desire to get into the Rock world. Ability to create a light show ahead of time, working in conjunction with Artist and management using DMX and 3D rendition software that we can transport. LD will need to create and run “scenes” and will have creative direction in articulating the visual aspects of the live show! The ability to create captivating lighting unique to the music is a must. LD will be provided the full 60 set list (mp3’s), an outline of basic “wants” and cue sheet as a guideline. Equipment is simple and efficient, 4 strobes firing upward inside hollow blocks (set to MIDI controller) and 4 moving head intelligent lights. We are looking for a creative artist, a team member, and someone who is seeking an opportunity to make upper level connections, a name in the music industry and build their performance resume.

This is a perfect opportunity for an LD who is seeking a fast-paced, highly visible way to make a name for themselves in the music industry. Chosen LD will be creating lights for a show that is played live to large amounts of fans locally, nationally and worldwide. LD will be part of a team who is exposed to mainstream Top 40 Radio charts, TV-film industry press and a myriad of music industry professionals (i.e. A & R’s from major and indie labels, venues, agents, promoters, music video/radio, and high profile management). Live arena play via ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC and major networks on the horizon. Management is working on live play at the Winter Olympic Festival- currently in negotiations. LD has the ability to be at the live show if desired, yet not necessary.
