About the Production:

Internationally bestselling author seeks "teenage" actors to star in new book trailer for young adult novel. Jessica Brody's books are sold in the US, Canada and more than ten foreign territories. Trailer will be shown across the world on publishers' websites, during publishers' in-house sales conferences, bookstore websites (including Barnes and Noble, Amazon and Borders in the US and WhSmith and Waterstones in the UK), booksellers' in-store TV screens, author's websites, and other viral outlets.

Two of the author's books have been optioned as television series and strong film interest already exists for this project as well.

Actors involved in the book trailer will receive consideration for any film adaptation and the lead character will receive consideration for the audio book recording.

About the Book:

The Karma Club is a young adult novel set to release in April 2010 by Farrar, Straus & Giroux Books for Young Readers.

Logline: Three high school girls decide to take Karma into their own hands by getting revenge on the ex-boyfriends who broke their hearts. But they soon discover that when you mess with Karma, Karma messes back.

Casting:

We are currently looking to cast four female roles and two male roles. All characters are 17 years old. Actors must be at least 18 years of age but must look high school age.
