I'm a drummer who plays a show at private parties and some night clubs. Each show lasts about anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. Most ot the gigs are here in LA. San Diego and Vegas. Every gig is a paid gig in which it ranges from $75 for a short set up to $250 or higher for bigger events and out of town shows. If you are selected to be part of this great show, you could gig up to 7 times a month. I'm an establish player and the show is already put together. What's needed is an attractive girl who is equally talented in dancing...If you can dance as fast as my hands can hit the drum....PERFECT.
The show consists of me playing Congas, Timbales, Djembe and cowbell on the top of the background music or whatever the DJ is playing. I have a very cool style influenced by bright colors and animal prints. I look like a star when I get on stage and looking for the same thing in a dance
As a dancer you will play off of what you feel--the beats coming from the drums and the music and dance as how the music tells to dance. If you are influenced by Salsa to Belly dance, you are in the ball park. If you are an extremely talented Go-Go dancer, you can do this.
We need a girl with style which means, you have a cool look and look even more incredible on stage. The cutting edge is the girl who is willing to put her heart out there on stage and give everything....
