We are casting for a short film which is an adaptation of an award winning play. We are looking for a Latino male, 11-13 years old, lightskin to play a young Puerto Rican kid with great comedic timing. This character is playing the young version of the main character so they must resemble him. This is powerful story about 2 young men that grew up in the foster care/juvenile justice system. We are touching on issues of abuse and drugs, so must be willing to go there. There are 3 scenes that have different levels and they are perfect for a young upcoming actor to showcase their talent. We have a great cast of talented actors, with a couple of celebrities attached and a great crew. There is no pay but the experience to work on a project like this with positive talented people is a great opportunity. We will be entering the short in all the different film festivals with goals of turning it into a feature. If you are interested in submitting your child please email picture to
