Artist showcase taking place November 24th in Sherman Oaks in looking for a house band! (drums, keys, guitar, and possibly bass)
The show was put together to give new artists and musicians and chance to perform and gain musical exposure. We all know how hard it can be for a new artists to get the attention and recognition they deserve. Our company has been hosting showcases for new artists in the Los Angeles area since 2007. The band is asked to play for no more than seven artists. Copies of the mp3 songs will be provided. The artists will be singing cover tunes so most of the music should be some what familiar. The music genres range from R&B/Soul to Rock and Jazz!! The atmosphere is very cool and down to earth and each artist is friendly and have positive attitudes. This is a perfect gig for new bands who want to gain great networking contacts and exposure. There will be industry professionals in attendance so please bring business cards, etc. This IS A PAID GIG, but pay depends on the turnout. The larger the crowd, the more money you earn. So we all have to pitch in and help out with promoting the show. The show is also open to new designers and comedians as well.
