I am getting annoyed with some of these casting calls where they want you to send the stuff to them by mail and the ones that want you to work for free.

#1 Its a modern world you have E-mail we can send demos right here over the computer.

#2 It costs money to send Demos and resumes to you by Snail mail and we do not really know if you get it or not.

#3 With the E-mail we know you get it because we can request a rescript comfirming you got it and if you did not we can resend it again.

#4 You can print out the resume and picture of the person you want insted of wasting our money by throwing it in the trash and wasting paper as well!

#5 Normally, you are not the only place we are sending our information We are sending for more then one Audition or one place.

#6 If you are only looking for people in your area make that clear and just advertise in you local paper don't complain to us that you are getting responces all over the world this is the Internet you should have thought of that.

#7 You are making money or will be making money for you film or what have you. Do not think we can or will work for you for free it cost us money as well for food, gas , time, And to live and we deserve to be paid for acting or modeling and our talent. You would not work for free, if you are working for free think about that and how you are treated and spending more then you are making.....

Good point. But it's up to the casting directors how they recieve the material. The standard is to take a hard copy of the material to the directors and casting staff for them to review.

Many of the casting directors are old school and just don't want to change. I can tell you that networks require a hard copy of your reel, resume, or whatever you send them. They won't accept email at all...
