Atlanta-Based Portrait Studio Launches Contest Designed to Help Connect Parents with Modeling School & National Agency while providing scholarships and prizes in the process.
So, you have the most handsome or most beautiful child around. Georgia parents, you now have the chance to prove it nationally through the help of Clix Portrait Studios. Clix Portrait Studios located at 4475 Roswell Rd., is launching their 2009 Clix Model and Actor Search, a competition designed to help connect local parents to National Modeling School & Agency Barbizon Label, while awarding many scholarships in the process including an opportunity to enter one sponsored by Barbizon International valued up to $100,000 towards college.
“Almost every day I hear one of our parents ask: Do you think our child should be a model or actor?” said David Asarnow, CEO of Clix Portrait Studios and owner of the Clix Marietta location. “Now, when the question is asked, I can say they most definitely should try,” now that Clix and Barbizon Label have connected to help facilitate this process.
From July 1 to August 31, parents who have their child photographed at Clix Portrait Studios of Marietta will have the option to enter their child into the Atlanta based contest. Directors from Barbizon and Label Model Management will determine the winners by vote. Your child must be 0 to 17 years in age in order to enter. There will be several winners in this Model & Actor Search Competition.
Barbizon will choose one winner for each of the following: $500 Savings Bond; Pre-Teen Bootcamp Scholarship ($495 value); Scholarship to Barbizon’s Major Modeling and Acting Program ($2,195 value); One Modeling Contract with Label Model Management, a division of Barbizon (Priceless); and all children 7-17 will qualify to enter into Barbizon’s annual college scholarship drawing (one winner nationally) valued up to $100,000, to be awarded in April, 2010.
Additionally, just for entering the contest, parents will be provided a free modeling photo shoot, which will be provided by Clix Portrait Studios. All winners with the exception of the college scholarship will be announced by October 15, 2009.
“We are excited to help interested local parents gain local and national attention for their beautiful children,” Asarnow said. “I personally look forward to viewing the many beautiful photos taken throughout the competition.”
