We are currently looking for Actors and Actresses for feature to begin shooting in March. The feature will be shot in HiDef. As this is an indie film, we offer Copy/Meal/Credit. This the first of three to be shot this year. Send information to casting@jknorr.com

Rhodes – 30’s Caucasian, Male – He is a detective who is partnered with long time friend Gibson. Rhodes is cool and collected. Not flashy, yet he is stylish. He drives a souped up ’73 Corvette. He has recently broken up with his girlfriend Gina. Somewhat in remission from that which causes his partner to ride him and help him get “back in the game”. Gina is killed, and the killer antagonizes Rhodes over many phone calls throughout the film.

Gibson – 30’s African-American, Male – He is the looser, slightly comical, and very much a “ladies man”. He exudes cool. Being Rhodes’ longtime friend, he feels it is his duty to help Rhodes through his loss. Although at times he can be playful, he is a cop at heart. After Gina’s killing, Rhodes becomes suspect that Gibson may be the voice of the killer.

Holly – 20’s African-American, Female – Holly is a young, sexy entrepreneur. She is the owner of a coffee shop Rhodes frequents. She becomes Rhodes’ love interest getting him back into dating. Not until after Gina’s death, does it become evident she may be the next victim. During their first date, we learn she has had a troubled past. Losing her mother and twin brother at birth, she struggles to find herself, as well as, tries to replace the loss her father has suffered. This lends to her sometimes troubled demeanor.

Man – Any age, any race, Male – Must have distinctive voice. Man is never seen through the film. He is the killer we hear over the phone. He is definitely intelligent, as he knows quite a bit about Rhodes. Yet at times he looses his composure, he still reverts back easily to being the true antagonist of the film.

Benny – Any race, any age, Male – Benny is a low level con-artist. He makes his living by stealing identities. He is computer smart, but not always street smart. He carries himself like a player, but hasn’t made it to that plateau yet. Rhodes and Gibson arrest him and interrogate him. Though some of what the two learn from Benny, Rhodes starts his suspicion of everyone around him.

Alice – Late 50’s Caucasian Female – Alice is a waitress in the diner where Rhodes and Holly meet for the first time. She is a motherly, attentive woman towards Rhodes. Yet she is a spit fire. Her attitude suggests she is from New York, but through he joking banter, she shows she has an affection for Rhodes…like his mother.

Diz – Any age, any race, Male – Diz is lead investigator on Gina’s murder. Although he does not believe Rhodes has anything to do with Gina’s murder, he does feel the need to follow protocol. Which means Rhodes can not be on the case. At the same time, being one of Rhodes’ friends, he does allow some behind the scene investigating by Rhodes.

Investigator 1 – 40’s Caucasian Male – He is Rhodes and Gibson’s commanding officer. He is a hard, wise, career cop. He also leads the interrogation of Rhodes after Gina’s death. He is compassionate for Rhodes’ lose, but he also has to show his authority by questioning Rhodes.

Gina – Late 20’s to Early 30’s, Caucasion Female – She was Rhodes’ girlfriend. After the two had split up, she is found dead.

Ellie – 20’s, any race – Ellie works at Holly’s coffee shop. She becomes a possible next target for the killer.

Various Extras include: Police investigators, Crime scene photographer, coffee house patrons, restaurant waitress, restaurant patrons, bar tender, bar patrons, couple strolling.
