Project: “The ZAP: Cradle in the Grave”
Form: A narrative documentary covering the quick rise and fall of a 90s-era all-girl punk band.
Format: HD video, 16mm film, 35mm film
Altair Inc. is seeking 3 female principals for an upcoming narrative project. The roles are:
Cheryl Lynn – 25-30 / Wired, confrontational, maybe bitter; raucous / Rhythm guitar / the driving force behind the band.
Ronnie One – 25-30 / Upbeat, naïve, something of a follower / Lead guitar.
Constance – 25-30 / Vague, thoughtful, somewhat frail / Keyboards and Lead Vocals / the creative force within the band.
We are looking for actors with the following potential mix of talent (although all are not required):
+ Ability to interpret a Punk personality
+ Vocal ability
+ Musical instrument ability
+ Stage Performance chemistry
+ Screen chemistry with other principals
+ Some improv / ad-lib ability
