JQwest Productions will be casting for an independent movie to be submitted to the Cannes Film Festival. Auditions are open to all and will be held January 18th at 1401 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30309. Sign in at 4pm.

Please bring your Resume and Headshots. Do not worry about speaking languages fluently, a diction professional will be on set if chosen.

Character Break Down

The Music Box
Young Natalya: A cute little girl with endless love of her mother and her father. Her curiosity and advantageousness creates a tragedy that changes her life forever. Should be or look 8 years old, be able to speak Italian, or phonetics. Dark hair brown eyes olive skin.

Natalya Preago: Beautiful Italian model, her life has been a tragedy since birth. She has never known her father accept for faded memories of his homeland and of a music box that was destroyed in a fire that claimed her mothers’ life. She uses her celebrity to try and track down her father that was never there. She was raised by her aunt and uncle who knew nothing of Natalie's father. Should be or look 24. Dark hair dark eyes lighter skin. Should look like a European styled model. Should be able to speak Italian and French or phonetics.

Lia Preago: Natalya's mother. She was a waitress at a small restaurant in a small run down town. Lia also had a great love for music which is how she met and fell in love with Natalya's father. His gift to her as he was forced to leave her was a music box with an original melody which he said expressed the passion and love that he had for her. Should be or look 28. Dark hair, dark eyes olive skin, almond eyes. Italian or phonetics.

Philippe Gerard: A male model a little younger than Natalya. They meet at a photo shoot where they realize that they have so much in common. Thoughts on life, love, religion, politics, films, foods. They begin dating and move in together. When Philippe find out that Natalya is pregnant he proposes to her. Light skinned white male, hair and eyes are variable. Should look like typical European male model. needs to be able to speak French or phonetics.

Robert Gerard: Philippe’s father, an older gentleman that is well traveled and educated. He is a failed musician and now makes music boxes to pay the bills and keep him and his wife comfortable in their simple, peaceful life. Should be mid 50’s; look similar to actor playing Philippe perhaps a little shorter. Grey hair should be able to speak Italian and French or phonetics.

Isabelle Gerard: Philippe's mother and wife of Robert, she is a great cook and a loving peaceful woman who has always supported and cared for her family. Mid 50's white, grey hair eyes variable, should be able to speak French.
Francisco Nachos: Natalya’s uncle, he has raised her since she was 7 years old and her mother was killed in a house fire. Should look to be late 20's to early 40's. No restrictions.

Marianna Nachos: Francisco's wife, Lia's mother, Natalya’s aunt. She is kind and loving, always supporting and helping Natalya to try to find the answer to the question that has plagued the young model. Should be late 20's to early 40's, dark hair, dark eyes, should be able to speak Italian or phonetics.
