Director: Trusive. I am still casting the lead male role of BRETT DARUS in my forthcoming gay independent feature film entitled VERGE OF THE OBSCENE (V.o.t.O.). This is a drama about aspiring performers taking their passion to the tragic extreme and will commence production in Los Angeles and Orange County within 2008. V.o.t.O. will have a LA premiere, television airing and an international DVD distribution by Iron Rod Motion Pictures. It will also be submitted to various national gay film festivals.
As the lead actor, you will be contracted and paid a negotiable flat rate based on the extent of your experience as an actor and your capability to dance or learn choreography. You do not need to be part of SAG (non-union is acceptable and preferred) and are not required to have an agent or be represented by an agency. For me, your talent is the #1 factor. You will also receive a fully packaged DVD copy of the completed film as well as all high-quality photographic promotional material for V.o.t.O.

Eventually, Brett is given the opportunity to dance professionally for a major dance company, but must choose between his dream or his musician boyfriend. To add to his conflict, Brett cannot easily escape his life as a showboy, not unless he is willing to suffer the regrettable price for leaving the club that has made him a top poster boy and gay sex icon. Must be GAY/ANDROGYNOUS. Acting/dancing experience required. Be 5'5 - 5'8, toned body, attractive. Must be able to expose your behind/torso for the club dance performances/love scenes.

MALE ACTOR/DANCER CRITERIA

Must reside in Los Angeles

You must be GAY and more so ANDROGYNOUS (I've already cast the butch roles)

Previous acting and dancing experience required

Be in your early 20's, Caucasian, stand between 5'5 - 5'8, slim/slender or lean/toned physique with little to no body hair, clean shaven with attractive boyish looks (please see Brent Corrigan's photo below as an example of what you ought to resemble in appearance)

You must be openminded about a makeover just in case I need your hair cut/colored, eyebrows groomed and/or lower body waxed (all beauty expenses paid for)

Please have excellent professionalism and leave your inhibitions at the door once on set

There is absolutely no frontal nudity, but you must be able to expose your behind and torso on camera for some of the club dance performances and love scenes (remember, Brett is a go go dancer with a hot boyfriend)
