Thursday: 6am-3pm
Friday: 9am-6pm

8 total
5 guys/3 girls would be the ideal breakdown, but this is flexible
RATE:
$37/hr
DUTIES:
Staff will be dressed as Chicago Bears fanatics and acting like stereotypical, die-hard football fans. They will be transported around town, making stops at various commuter stops and Pioneer Plaza to put on mock tailgates? on top of a flatbed truck:
At these locations, the staff will hold a mock tailgate including grills (dry ice to give the appearance of grilling, no actual food), coolers, cans with koozies, branded chairs, etc. Wearable items, props, face paint and the days Chicago Tribune will be provided for them to wear and carry.
They will be encouraging people on the street to read the Tribunes special Bears editorial sections and in paper/online coverage of Superbowl weekend. Info on talking points to be provided at training.
They will improvise and conduct contesting to award premiums/prizes to pedestrians. They will lead Bears cheers, Superbowl shuffle and generally get people excited about the Bears playing in the Superbowl. Scripts will be provided at training.
AT each tailgate stop, staff will be required to assist promotion manager in set up and tear down of props and displays.
REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for actors and comedians who are energetic and engaging-people who can improv that there is a tailgate going on and act as true Bears fans. A diverse groups is preferred. Staff must be able to work both event days. Headshots are needed, and interviews may be conducted at the GMR office on Michigan Ave.
The look that is desired for males is a Chris Farley, DA' BEARS! Grabowski type.
Females should be very outgoing, energetic & attractive.
