Director: Matthew Wright. Angel of Memory is a powerful one-woman play with music. It tells a dramatic true story of exile and return through the eyes of women of a Jewish family that flees to Chile from Vienna before the Holocaust, is driven to the United States with the fall of Allende and returns to Chile after the brutal reign of Pinochet.

Actress will portray multiple characters, ranging in age from 35-80. Characters include an imperious Viennese matriarch, her Chilean-born grand-daughter, the British-born widow of renowned Chilean folk singer Victor Jara, various Madres of the Plaza del Mayo from Argentina and the immortal Chilean poet Pablo Neruda. Must be able to sing in Spanish (or be able to learn the songs phonetically)
