I have been cast in a documentary that is going to air on Discovery Health Channel and the Oxygen Network. Since I am a performance, slam poet, the network has agreed to film me performing as part of the documentary. All I need now is a venue. I recently moved to New York, and don't know about many venues. I am not asking to be featured or anything, I just need to know of any open mic that may be going on 10/27 (Tues.) or 10/28 (Wed.). All of the above information can and will be verified seeing as how the network would have to send a "release" form to the venue requesting permission to film. Also, the network has agreed to give free publicity to the venue, or if the venue does not want to be publicized, that will be respected as well.
