A visually dazzling 16mm and 35 mm movie, 15 minutes.

Two runaway aliens encounter each other on the abandoned planet, Gubble Bumm. The ravenous young man, Tapeworm, and parched young woman, Beanstalk, seek satiation in this desolate land, but find greater satisfaction in the memories and dreams that they share.

WE NEED TAPEWORM: a too-thin but handsome young alien, he has climbed onto planet Gubble Bumm simply since it was the nearest planet he could reach -- by his worm's scolex and segments, and his human tiptoes and teeth -- and because anything would be better than supporting his mushroom-farming, fatalistic father. Tapeworm loves wit and adventure, fine conversation and fine food. But must he always seek satisfaction in the external, or can he find ways to make himself happy as well?

Please be male and/or very masculine, enjoy voice acting and improvisation, be fluent with Stanislavsky and/or internal acting, and be open to incorporating performance art into your work. Be ready to explore and help build this experimental film's world.

Shooting dates: November 11 thru 13 (Wed, Thurs, Fri), 5pm to 11pm, lower Manhattan. November 14 and 15 (Sat, Sun), all day, Staten Island.

Auditions will be held in a building right near Washington Square, at the following times *this week*:
Sunday: 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Monday: 8 PM to 9:30 PM
Thursday: 7 PM to 9:30 PM
Friday: 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM
