MOMO PROS THEATRE CO. will be holding auditions For a new Stageplay entitled Monster's Anonymous about the misconceptions of the Aids Virus and the stories surrounding it. We will also be shooting a documentary which will segway into the stageplay. The Production will be performed at the Trinity Theatre in New Britain Ct. we will be performing on Dec 1 2009. Please be available for rehearsals schedules ..No Pay but all actors will receive Food, and A copy of the DVD Production as well as Transportation to the Performance space. which all actors will receive pending completion of the production. Cast of Characters/breakdown

Raul Wells Any race Early 20’s Aids awareness counselor, just graduated from college and eager to work in his field study, however the obstacles he face on his job were not the obstacles he was prepared to take on prior to getting hired.

Mrs Tracy Purnell Any race early 40’s Supervisor of Raul Wells, no nonsense and very strict when upholding standards pertaining to ensuring that her clients are educated on the dangers of spreading the AIDS virus.

Gil Any race late 30’s Heron Addict who is affected by the AIDS virus as a result and uses humor to combat the pain he feels having to live with this disease.


Rhonda Rodriguez Hispanic late 20’s Girlfriend of Gil who is an alcoholic but is not affected by AIDS she also uses humor to combat the pain of having to live with someone who has this disease.


Apple Early 20’s, any race, former Prostitute who is affected by the Aids virus but can’t seem to cope with the nightmares that affect her everyday life.

Naeema 17 or 18 years of age any race, college bound., intelligent, with a smart alec demeanor, very attractive but naïve when it comes to dating.

Tru Late teens early 20’s Boyfriend of Naeema, suave, smooth, and persuasive and persistent when it comes to women. Will do just about anything just to get women even if it means he’ll be at risk himself.


Karma early 20’s ,sister of Naeema infected with the AIDS virus who is in the last stages of the disease. Very overprotective about her sister and will do anything to prevent her sister from having a social life.

Tammy Late teens early 20’s, Friend of Naeema who is also overprotective and will try anything to prevent Naeema from dating. Very loud and obnoxious at times.

Troy Any race, late 20’s early 30’s husband of Nina who is a loving family man and craves to have children someday ..he has old school values and is against condom usage. He carries a suspicion about his wife who is for condom usage.

Nina Any race, Early 20’s and loving wife of Troy who strongly believes in having a family but cautions against unprotected sex for her own personal reasons. She strongly believes in condom usage. So she has to fight her inner demons in order to avoid the temptation of having unprotected sex.

Poppa lou Early 50’s Father of Nina, who lives with her and Troy and wants the best for her, but is becoming a menace living in the same house.

Narrator 1/2 /3 Poetic Narrators any age/ any race which will act as interpreters throughout the story.



Tony/Percy Any age/African American but must be same sex who is affected by the AIDS virus. They will be participants in an Aids awareness support group. They will be referred as Couple 1 and Couple 2.

Death Any age any race will act as poetic interpreter throughout the story.


New Employee Employee who gets hired by Mrs .Purnell after Raul Leaves.
