Requesting applicants for the part of "The Killer" in NYU junior film influenced by the French New Wave films of the 1960's. Applicants should be 20-50, male, and either physically buff or otherwise ominous-looking.
Character Description: The film's antagonist, The Killer is an imposing, emotionless hitman who tracks our hero, a French thief living in New York City. He is death personified; unstoppable and silent, appearing out of nowhere and exacting his lethal business with no guilt or pleasure. Where he comes from and who has hired him remains a mystery.
Applicants must be available the afternoon of Friday, Oct 16 and the evening of Saturday, Oct 17 for filming in the East Village and Chinatown. This is a supporting role. It is not a speaking part but an integral one to the plot of the film. Lunch on Friday and transportation provided. SAG actors welcome. Applicants may be asked to supply some or all of character's wardrobe.
