Upper West Side Story
Casting Sat Oct 17th 3-8pm
"Upper West Side Story" – 10-12 min Film Short. It will be a musical that will be shot on the Upper West Side and at Hunter College. Instead of the Jets vs Sharks it will be the Rockers vs the Rappers. Looking for those that can act, those that can dance, and especially those that can do both. Non-union only and no pay.

WHEN: Casting Auditions Saturday, the 17th of October.

WHERE: HUNTER COLLEGE - between 69th and 68th, between Park and Lexington ave, Hunter North Building Room 543 (HN543)

WHAT'S EXPECTED: A High school/young-looking face!!! Upbeat energy, Rehearsals the following Sundays until we start shooting.

There will 3 – 3 1/2 days of shooting – the 7th and 8th of Nov. (Sat. and Sun.) and a Tues. evening shoot (Nov. 10th) and/or the following weekend on Nov. 14th or possibly late afternoon on a Wednesday at HN543.

Cast: Anton (Toni), Martha (Maria), Rockers, Rappers, Officer Johnson (30’s) and Zeem (20’s)
Anton and Martha: SAT prep lovers that quickly fall for each other…or do they? They can resolve the issues between the Rockers and Rappers.
ROCKERS – Spike – The leader, he is a tough bad ass + Martha’s cousin.
Base – Geeky, never been laid. Metal – Athletic - ready for action
Vintage – Tall, slim Rock philosopher/deepest into all things rock
RAPPERS – CP - Fit and muscular -Always has a plan.
Nudey – Comic Relief Quann – Big ol’ brawlig brute-the protector and oldest of the rappers.(20’s) Swan – Quann’s puny lil bro’
