We are independent filmmakers seeking actors for a twelve minute film about the line between traditional values and and real world freedom in 21st Century America.
Roles
Yasmina, a young Muslim girl in an arranged marriage
18-19 years old
can be any race, but must be beautiful and exotic with dark eyes and hair
Hani, Yasmina's husband
28-35 years old
any race but must appear possibly Egyptian, Middle Eastern, North African, etc...
Victor, local teenager, Yasmina's secret love interest
18-22 years old
White, Latino, or Bi-racial: black and white, Asian and white, Latino and White, Latino and Asian
Sadly we cannot pay for this film, but we will feed you. We will also provide reels, credit and a fantastic experience working on an important, yet fun and youthful film about the empowerment of young people set in NYC. Also, we do have budget for a second, longer film to be filmed in 2009 so working with us now could garner future direct earnings.
