Non-Union Comedic Short Film "Untitled Hot Dog Vendor Comedy" will be holding auditions on the evening of Friday, 10/16, for a shoot taking place the weekend of 11/7.
Shoot is unpaid. Transportation costs and lunch provided. Previous Film and Comedy experience a plus. Please send headshots and credits for consideration. You will likely receive a response very quickly due to extremely short time frame between casting notice and auditions.

PLOT SUMMARY:
A hotdog vendor, upon discovering that his day-old hotdogs are poisonous, must frantically prevent a group of ornery teens from eating them and hide the bodies of those that already have, all while in the midst of a grueling health inspection.
ROLE DESCRIPTIONS:
HARISH: Male 25-45. Middle-Eastern. Lovable. Worrisome. Tragically accident-prone. Always tries to do the right thing…unless it’s at the expense of his business.
HEALTH INSPECTOR: Male 25-35. Humorless. Curt. Annoyingly by-the-book. Enjoys making cart owners squirm. Good sense of comedy to play the straight-man.
DOG WALKER: 35-50 years old. High Social Status. Frequents the park in which Harish works and forms a common bond with him through his plight with troublesome teens.
