Paul Ruben Productions are producers of Language Teaching and English as a Second Language audio programs, and we are currently searching for native Urdu, Pashto, Hindi, and Tagalog voice talent to read words and short phrases and sentences for an online language learning program. You will find all of the information here regarding submitting a voice audition below. If you are not available to work at our studio in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, please do not audition.
You must be a native Urdu, Pashto, Hindi, or Tagalog speaker AND reader and also be able to speak, read and understand English. You must be available to work once a week for 20 weeks.
Your audition should contain the following:
1. Your name
2. Your phone number
3. The Language you are auditioning for (Urdu, Pashto, Hindi, or Tagalog)
4. The audition text (Read a short news clip of your choice in your native language of about 30 to 60 seconds in length.)
The audition should be read at a normal pace. The trick is to not read too fast but still make the text lively and natural sounding. The ESL programs are not only educational, they are entertainment as well! So put some life into the audition. To listen to some examples of our work, please go to our demos page. There are two ways to deliver your audition to us. The most preferable way is to record the audition yourself at your own facility or home studio. The MP3 can be emailed to us at
audition@prpaudio.com as an attachment.
