I am a prolific songwriter, lead singer and rhythm guitar player and have recently moved to NYC and as a result had to dissolve my previous band who were local to Rhode Island. I am looking put together a new band that would play shows around this area and both use material I have already written and develop new songs. I have a strong lead player and am looking to add a rhythm section and so am starting with drummer auditions. I have a kit, admittedly a crappy one that is lacking a floor tom but it is functional. I also have access to practice space. No pay at the moment, though any profit gained playing will be divided evenly. I have posted a link to my myspace below. All players should have some degree of experience, as I want this to be a serious band and I want to start playing gigs as soon as possible, and should probably be between the ages of 18 and 25 (though exceptions could be made).
