Late 20's female singer seeks bandmates. Guitarist, bassist and drummer needed; possibly room for a secondary guitarist/backup singer as well. Members will be responsible for learning cover songs on their own, and then bringing prepared material out to the rehearsal location near Suffolk Community College to practice once a week. With a full time profession, my time is limited, so weekly practice will be long and hard. Plan is to seek out small LI gigs and we'll see what develops over time.
Band will play a variety of covers, mostly hard rock/grunge. Don't inquire unless you're willing to play in a band fronted by a chick singer! Heavy Rock/Grunge covers, and some new stuff too. Evanescence, Pearl Jam, No Doubt, Seether, Tool/Perfect Circle, Flyleaf, INXS, Kittie, Chevelle, Veruca Salt, The Doors, Staind, Garbage, Vast, Hoobastank, Muse, Halestorm, Black Crows, Paramore, Buck Cherry, Heart, Rolling Stones, Hole, Velvet Revolver...a good mix of rock hits. May include some pop and some classic "crowd pleasers". Certainly room for your input as well :). FYI-you need to have a "go with the flow" attitude, and be willing to contribute ideas, change keys and even sing some backup vocals if/where needed. You don't need to be a great singer, but you'll need to carry a tune. [Keyboardists, with vocal talent, interested may contact for more information as well.]
