The Producing students at New York Film Academy are shooting a reality tv show pilot based around three up and coming bands and/or artists. We will be shooting from November 6th – 15th, so we ask that participants be available to be followed around with video equipment during that time, and that there is some kind of artistic development going on during that time (auditions for members or gigs, meetings with agents, songwriting, etc.) We are very serious about this project and hope to pitch the pilot to networks in the future. Please also note that there is no compensation for participating, however you will receive a copy of the trailer and great exposure!
Casting will take place on Thursday, October 29th from 12:30pm – 2:30pm and Friday, October 30th from 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm at the NYFA campus in Union Square
Who we are looking for:
• Bands and/or musical artists of any genre
• DO NOT have to be signed to a label; we are looking for mainly independent musicians, however you are free to audition if you are signed and in development.
• In some stage of development: looking for new members to complete the band, auditioning for gigs, going through the process of songwriting, meeting with agents or trying to get signed, etc.
• Have some sort of story, struggle, or conflict to tell. We are looking for musicians who have dynamic personalities.
