Casting for "Curious" will be held during December 2009. We will be accepting resumes and headshots for the next month. To be considered for the project please provide Headshots/Photos and Resume. You will be contacted to schedule an audition which will be held in early December. Princinpal Photography begins January 15th and is scheduled for 6 weeks.

"Curious" is an independent feature film that will be comprised of 5 small short stories woven together by the complexities of the people of the city. Each story is a case study into the not-so-ordinary lives of the main characters and the environment around them. This is not 'New York, I Love You'

This project is probably best suited for actors seeking to experiment with their talents or those who have limited experience (but display talent). We are working on a modest budget and, in accordance with our contracts, most roles will be paid $100/day.

Basic Character Descriptions: Request Script, Sides, or Full Length Character Descriptions if interested.

Austin: Male, 25 - 35, Graffiti Artist, drug addict.
Micah: Male, 20 - 30, Plays drums in a "pop-punk" band. Suicidal.

Mel: Male, 20 - 30, Trust Fund Baby turns to prostitution for thrills.
Liz: Female, 30-40, Trust Fund Baby turns to prostitution for thrills.

Devon: Female, 35-45, bank teller, aspiring actress.
Jason: Male, 18-25, addicted to picking up "women of the night"
Sasha: Female, 20-30, aspiring actress

Damon: Male, 18-25, street vendor/dealer
Jasmine: Female, 20 - 30, club promoter
Nicole: Female, 20-30, club promoter

Gael: Male, 25-35, Homeless, works the subways singing religious tunes.

Each of these groups represent the main characters of the short stories. There are several supporting roles for each as well as a need for extras. Feel free to submit regardless of experience. All roles will receive stipend ranging from $25-$50 per day.
