I am a student Hofstra directing a senior film the weekend of nov 20-22. I am in need of 5 older male actors to fill the principal rolls of my film, Authentic Military Vintage. Authentic Military Vintage is a black comedy. It is the story of obsessed, damaged men who attempt to relive their war experiences and fantasies via the military collectibles convention circuit.
Casting For:
Larry Adams- A contentious, obsessed middle aged thin man of small stature. He is middle aged Vietnam veteran.
John Goldberg- An aloof, self loathing jewish veteran of Desert Storm. Tall and slightly pudgy, he is in his early forties.
Norman "Big Kill" Frankfurt: A half-sane PTSD Vietnam veteran with wild eyes. In his fifties. Short and heavy-set.
Wally Jakubs is a squirrelly, untrustworthy man who collects Nazi memorabilia. Tall, very thin and in his late 30s. Blue eyed and blond haired.
Convention Master: An imperious older man, reminiscent of Lee Marvin or John Wayne. Tanned and with short hair.
